Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner, (very good looking) wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, and a tee, nabbed the Male Breakout Performance award at Spike TV's 2009 Scream Awards Saturday night. The ceremony, which honors the best horror, sci-fi, and fantasy flicks, was also attended by Keith Richards, Quentin Tarantino, Johnny Depp, CHristina Ricci, and Megan Fox. Though we'll have to wait another month to see Lautner reprise his role as teen werewolf Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga 'New Moon', the movie's stellar soundtrack hit shelves 2 weeks ago.

A 13 year old girl captured the international art/fashion scene. A few years before it was unthinkable, but in these days there are already numerous alternatives on the internet to be successful. But, it is difficult to stand out from the unmanageable mass of blogs. Tavi succeeded in her own way having an awesome passion for fashion, her extraordinary style and of course her youthfulness. From Chicago she managed it to the front row of the big fashion shows in New York. The High-School-Student turned into the favorite of the branch with her fashion-blog. She began her blog, "Style Rookie" on March 31, 2008 when she was 11 year old. Since then, she has had up to 50,000 readers, but not the 4 million that Grazia reported. While Gevinson describes herself as a "tiny 13 year old dork that sits inside all day wearing awkward jackets and pretty hats", many look to her for style inspiration. In mid-2009, Gevinson partnered with London-based Borders&Frontiers to design and sell her own t-shirt. In August 2009, she appeared on the cover of Pop Magazine, which feature photographs by Jamie Morgan and was designed by artist Damien Hirst. As I already mentioned, the twenties on my post before (menswear-inspired fashions), here's a book I've read and put on my must-have-read booklist. 'Twenties girl' by Sophie Kinsella is a really beautiful funny book which is about love, family and the most unusual, unique and hilarious ghost.

my first blog inspiration
To be honest; before I started to create and publish my first blog, I've never read blogs before. I got inspired by a blog of a fashion-community (www.insidefruits.de) where I had to create a blog to win an outfit at a value of 1000 Euro. Sadly, BUT I didn't win the lottery. On the other hand I won the second place at a fashion-contest before on www.stylefruits.de by creating a "rockstyle-outfit" ... and last but not least I AM addicted/interested to fashion just like all shopaholic-, fashionaddict-, fashionconscious-HUMAN BEINGS!!!
