Jimmy Choo & Ugg Australia Collaboration

 The ‘Choo-Choo train’ is chugging on. First, the celebrity Jimmy Choo brand collaborated with the Establishment label, Hunter, last summer, to produce a status pair of super-wellies, in black mock-croc, priced at £250. Now, the shoemakers to the stars are collaborating with Ugg Australia on a limited edition collection of women’s sheepskin footwear. The co-branded collection, based on the ubiquitous boots seen on every high street, and every celebrity, will be available from October this year. There will be five different styles in multiple colour variations, priced between £495 and £695. The boots will be sold only at Jimmy Choo and Ugg Australia store and a selection of prestigious department stores which carry the Jimmy Choo label. "Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe,” said Tamara Mellon, president and founder of Jimmy Choo.

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Today H&M released their anticipated Jimmy Choo line. The line, which was fashioned  by Jimmy Choo designer Tamara Mellon features many chic studded items including dresses, leggings, shoes, and handbags. For men, the line features boots, cardigans, and bags. Above all, prices are under 300 €. Really cheap prices if you compare them to typical Jimmy Choo prices, so still affordable! Well, this may still be a splurge, but completely worth it! I knew there will be crowds of girls in front of the selected H&M stores here in Germany, and WHO KNOWS if I would have been one of those lucky girls who would have get to line in the row to get to the store. I've read this article about hysterical fashionistas on BBC NEWS UK (klick on the BBC link). Another reason why I didn't want  to queue in front of H&M (in Düsseldorf) this morning. Practically, I decided to stay at home and get myself some pieces of Jimmy Choo's collection from the internet (at h&m.com).  I chose one of the studded handbags and a blue scarf! It was only 11:00 am when my favorite shoes and clothes were already sold out.

Behind the Seams: Stars Rock Noir For Jimmy Choo for H&M

We have to wait until Nov. 14 to get our hands on the Jimmy Choo For H&M collection. But not Tamara Mellon and her friends - they partied the night away in LA wearing the coveted clothes and accessories. The Jimmy Choo founder donned one of her favorites - the one-shoulder leather dress - while actress Hayden Panettiere sported the black-sequin jacket. Lucky! There was a lot of noir in the house but that's expected, the line is totally rock 'n roll.

Can't wait to get myself some pieces of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection (at h&m.com for online shopping).
